safari trips

A safari can be an awesome trip that you’ll remember for the rest of your life. A little planning beforehand can help make sure you get all you want out of the experience. Here are some questions to ask while planning:
1. What safaris are there? What are the options?
Before you pick a tour company, make sure you look through all the different tour options and make sure you pick the one that will work best for your time schedule and comfort level. Be aware of how strenuous a trip will be, and make sure you’re up to the physical exertion - or pick one that’s less strenuous.
2. Where is a good location for a safari?
The best parts of Africa for safaris include East and Central Africa, and Southern Africa. Also check out the Indian Ocean Islands and South East Asia.
3. What will the weather be like?
Make sure you know the season you’ll be going in (and don’t assume that “summer” in Africa is like “summer” in America), what the weather will be like, and how that will affect your trip. There are many places online where you can find international weather - try for one. Also, be ready for all the varieties of weather you might encounter.
If you are going to visit East and Central Africa, long rains start early in April go til early June. Short rains abound during late November and December. Southern Africa has its rainy season from late November through mid-April for the safari areas. However, during that time, it will be summer in the Southern Cape. Indian Ocean Islands weather is generally like of that of Southern Africa. In these islands, summer rains last from November through April, sometimes punctuated by cyclones. May to October is the dry season.
4. What activities do you want to do?
If there’s something in particular you want to do on your safari, make sure your tour includes it. Here are some special things you might find on safari tours:
a. gorilla trekkingb. sailingc. birdwatchingd. participatory campinge. self-driving
5. What can you afford?
When choosing a trip, keep your budget in mind and decide on a price range you can afford. Some variations that might affect the price of your tour are the level of luxury, length of the trip, extra activities, accommodation preferences, visa to Vietnam, meals and season. Find out when their off-season is and go on a shorter tour and you can shave off a few bucks while still having all the fun you want.
6. How do you want to travel?
Do you want your safari to be luxurious, moderate or rustic? Will your kids tag along? Are you traveling with a group or will you be one bold, independent traveler? Will you travel by air or road? What about your guide and your vehicle?Use these questions and to make your planning easier, and enjoy the safari of your life!
